Would love for you hot, successful business guys and gals to give me your opinion on something…it’s a tricky one…
Can a good business opportunity come to you from a not-so-great-person? (No, I’m not talking about some creepy investment ploy…I mean the real deal - a new client or a promising project). And if it does, what should you do? Ignore it - because the person bringing it sceeves you out? Or suck it up and give ‘em a call?
They Just Said...
I say give a call back because it’s good karma to do so. And that’s it. Listen to your gut. If it’s sceevey you don’t want to get pulled into that. Peace of mind is priceless.
You have that INTUITION for a reason girlfriend! Follow that always and you’ll rest peacefully!
Oh, yes, I ALWAYS listen to my gut…and my decision in regards to this situation has already been made. But it’s interesting to get other points-of-view on an issue that’s not so black-and-white.
Well, you never know. Maybe the perv will simply refer you to someone, and your contact will be minimal. I’d say make the call, give him 5 minutes and follow your instincts from there
My gut tells me that your guts tells you to send this boy packing. I always trust my gut.
Id say- sceeveys are people too Nikki.
The other person related to the possible opportunity may think this person is skeevey as well so maybe the skeevey is just a hurdle. Not all birds of a feather flock together- so Id say-go for it!
When it comes to “sceeve” radar - you are pretty sensitive. Let’s face it - it doesn’t take much to creep you out. You never know if you don’t try. You can always back out gracefully.
Coming from the one person who gags easier than I do (Heidelberg).

You say sceevey like its a bad thing. And weirdo $$ counts just as much as polly purebreads.
I say go for it, But bring latex gloves.
